I would amend recommendations like this: If you are a young rider, go Pint all day. Light, maneuverable, less body mass required to do cool stuff, etc. If you are 120+ lbs, depends on what you like to do. If I could magically transform my XR Burris smooth ride to a Pint S series smooth tire, YEA. Then I would keep the Rally for rock trails, and keep my quieter and smoothier float when I want that peaceful beach or asphalt glide... It is the ZEN of the float. But personalish- I would keep a smooth tire on the P-S. I love flipping the board around, bonking, railing, etc... And the smooth tire does all of that. Smaller and lighter the board, the better. If you don't have a board though, go with what you can get. Big Z to Cody: "You gotta find your joy, man!"

Coming from a Pint X that I've been riding for 1800 miles over the past year, I recently bought a GT because I needed the range. There's an 18 mile loop that I used to do on my esk8 but I never did it on the Pint X due to range anxiety. Now that I have the GT I can do that loop again and then some. As nice as the GT-Series would be, I prefer range over speed any day.

Hands down, buy a gt. It has the range, the power, and the speed.

I think the pint x will get phased out once the firmware update is released. The pint is the gateway onewheel and i dodn't see that sub 1k onewheel going anywhere. You can purchase 2 pint s for $2800 or 1 GTS for $2900...hmmm 🤙

Why it's the light on??

Pint S is literally just the Pint X with the newest firmware in addition to upgraded footpads, tire, and Mag Handle Pro. The range is the same on both the X and the S as the battery and controller have not been upgraded. Sometime within the next couple of weeks, the firmware that's on the S will be available for the X. Once you install that, they'll ride completely the same. At that point, you'd just have to swap the tire and the footpads for that total "Pint S" feel.

I started with a GT, then got a Pint X for my grandson, but honestly I enjoy the Pint X for just goofing around, it's so easy to maneuver. Definitely can't go wrong with any of them, I think distance is what is most important when choosing. As long as you are riding, life is good.
